Made this box art to go in my portfolio. It's for a made up game that I just thought of the story for and made what I would have imagined the box art to look like.

Was just wanting some opinions on it and what I could improve on if I was to make another.

Everything but the model of the gun was made by me. I used Fuse to create the characters, Mixamo to get poses for the characters and Photoshop for all the rest.

I don't really think it looks that good, but that doesn't mean you haven't done a good job. It looks appealing to the eye at first, but it doesn't look very professional.
I mean, I couldn't see this as a game cover, the character, for example, doesn't really blend into the environment. But since you made the character yourself, I'd say it's a job well done anyways.

Not a huge fan of the drop shadows.

Yeah that's probably down to the character being cartoon whilst the background being made from real pictures.

This looks so legit but I would work more on my characters like more shading or features on them , no hate just appreciate

I feel like if you would've made the black outlines around the three characters a little bit smaller it would've looked even better

None of the characters have black outlines? Unless you meant the boxes on the left?

think he means the drop shadow

but imo it looks like this game is for the nintendo or game cube.. looks old and retro

just my opinion
