Swift wrote As a UPS driver, these stories just infuriate me. I have only been driving a year but I feel the people around me do not take their job as serious.

All you can do is report your item damaged(if it was) and report the driver.

PC wise, did you get USPS to replace it? Im curious.
the item was just a game guide and some pens. Nothing to break really. I am however reporting the driver to the usps store he works at, and the corporate office place.

To be honest, You shouldn't be surprised with how the packages are treated, They move them pretty fast depending on the shipping chosen and they don't get there that fast being babied around. Just imagine of you ordered it via xmas time , They prolly would shot your package from a cannon just to get it to your door faster. Is it wrong for them to do this to your items? Yes. Do they care? No.

Security cameras.

Same thing happened to me, cameras paid off after I showed to the post office manager and they were fired immediately.

This. Cameras are so important nowadays in the front of houses, for any type of event really. Try to get one as soon as you can and if you can.

I 100% understand your frustration because the same thing happens to me all the time. From my experience it's only been with people from FedEx though so whenever I have something important coming in I always try to get it shipped from anyone, but them. Almost every time they deliver a package they just toss it and leave without even knocking or ringing the door bell so also runs the risk of getting my package stolen. I'm usually not near the door so I can never catch them in time to say something, but I know they throw the packages because I just hear a loud bang and my dog starts barking because of it. I have reported it before, but they ask for who the person was and I haven't been able to get a good look at them so there isn't much they can do according to them.

My mail man would loose his job so quick if I seen this. It doesn't matter what it is.

I've had bad dealings with mail companies before. Couple times I've had to return something as damaged and have them send me a replacement. In most cases they just don't care. Not sure if any of you will be familiar with him or not, but similar thing happened with Rob Dahm, only his package wasn't damaged it was stolen. He did have a video on YouTube about it but I'm sure he took it down.

Update everyone!

Final Decision: Usps responded to my email saying they looked into my case i submitted. The manager of the store that delivers my mail daily also spoke with me about my situtation and informed me that was not the 1st complaint he had gotten against him. (Other people reported him doing the same thing) that he was under "watch" as they call it and this time would be the last time he would do it. The manager said he had been let go as of this today.

As bad as this sounds, GLAD he got fired! Hopefully the new driver will be good and actually care!

People who don't do their jobs correctly don't deserve to have the job, to be honest. What you did (reporting him) was a good thing. Pretty sure he's broken a few valuables other than yours.

It's stupid because if it does not belong to them they don't care, they'll throw it.. It's how it always is, it's stupid because you receive damaged goods and it's all their fault, will happen to most of your stuff you get from USPS.
