Hyundai Genesis 3.8, Impreza, Hyundai Veloster Turbo. Personally I'd go wtih something older and put a little money into making it reliable and adding your own personal touch, but that's just me.

Fully agree with you, never buy a new car unless you really really want it/dream about it. Adding personal touch also makes you like your car more!
