So i have been in the market for a gaming/office chair.

I am looking to spend no more than $250

Some days i spend 8+ hours binge watching Netflix from the chair i have now so im looking for something that is a little more comfy than what i have now. I also do school work in this chair and play video games..

I am from the US

Thanks for the help!

I know people say to get a fantastic chair worth a ton of money but it really isn't worth it in my opinion. I spend a lot longer than 8 hours on the chair and I have just some $40 odd one i brought from ebay and it does fine

I sit in my chair for 10+ hours a day and all of these are perfect they have great neck and lumbar support and can lean back and stretch out all the way to the ground.

Personally for less than $150 get the life carver but if you have a bit more to spend on leather chairs get a dxracer or gt-omega.

When it comes to "gaming" styled chairs, I've learnt that it's always best to spend a bit more on quality than you would looks.

For example, I spent £100 on a "gaming//Racing" styled chair and within 6 months, the chair was a pain to sit on. The foam had pretty much gone, the build quality was sub-par at best and yeah, not great.

So I spent £300 on a decent chair. Apart from the odd scratch here and there, there isn't a sign that its been used for 6 months.

I had one for awhile very comfortable. I'd reccomend this (If IKEA is over in USA) but like the other's said. Spending that bit more on quality over looks is essential!

This is the chair I've been using as of recent. It's great for people who are on the tall side such as 6'2 or higher and it's meant for use of 8 hours or longer. I believe these were considered security chairs seeing how they can be used 24/7. The seat cushion is one of the best I have used in a chair in a long time and the back of the chair has a slight outward curve a little bigger than most chairs in it for back support if you need it. Frame under the seat and the wheels all feel very sturdy and the wheel even glide over carpet pretty smoothly (which I know I shouldn't be doing but yeah.) It is a little over budget, but you may be able to find it cheaper on other sites. There are different models, such as one on Amazon that is under your budget, but has leather on the hand rails. The first link is out of stock, I just wanted to include it so you can see what it looks like and if it's something you want, you can try and find one for cheaper around the web.

There are also chairs from them that are made from fabric if that's what you prefer.

Personally, I prefer chairs that have mesh all around, seat and back of the chair, but the first one I linked as been going great for me. I prefer rubber handles instead of leather mounted into the metal as with previous chairs of that design, it's easier to hurt your elbow either from accidentally slamming into the metal through the leather or after prolonged use, you start flattening the leather and if it's bad quality, will crack. Rubber in all is just more comfortable for me, but then again I have not tried leather arm rests with this specific chair brand.
