Yes. Yes we can. But we are not paid to help you. We actually get paid to be at our jobs. And currently, that's where I am.

You will have to wait a bit to get a reply but you will get one.

If you want me to drop everything and make you a build, you'll have to pay me £20/hour

Since you need peripherals within budget, you can't quite afford a Ryzen system which means best option is the Pentium G4560;

You might honestly be better off waiting a little bit for Ryzen 3 to hopefully release and GPU prices to start getting back to normal. With the system above, I've left £100 for GPU, I suggest getting a used GPU from here;

as GPU pricing is really awful right now. You should be able to get a GTX 770/GTX 960 or R9 280(x) for around £80-90.

I don't think waiting on GPU prices to drop is a good idea, unless he waits for Vega to come out as I don't expect GPU prices to drop for months; despite Nvidia and AMD starting to release mining cards. Ethereum did have a $40 crash I believe yesterday (July, 27th) but it shot right back to where it was in less than 24 hours. We just need the Cryptocurrency bubble to burst, but until then, waiting on GPU prices to go down is going to be a headache unless he's extremely patient with it. I've been seeing RX 580's easily go for $600, $700 and for some reason over on Reddit, people were linking 1070's going for 1k+. Hell even RAM prices are starting to rise much higher than they already were due to the shortage since everyone wanting to move to DDR4. Now we need to pair in the fact that miners are becoming a problem and Apple is becoming a huge problem now too because they're buying up a lot of DRAM/NAND Chips for their iPhone 8, when the NAND demand is already crucially high right now. SSDs are going to be getting hit next too.

The build is £500, he left £100 open for the GPU and suggested you buy a used GPU from Reddit's UK Hardware Swap. The build total will be £498.77. The reason he left you the extra £100 to use elsewhere is because trying to buy a brand new GPU from an online retailer will have a stupid inflation price because miners have been buying out the GPUs. A brand new 1060 or RX 470 (if you can find one in stock) will cost you upwards of £280-300+ when they shouldn't be that high; there's even been worse cases where those cards are going for upwards of 500 American Dollars when they should be no where near that. On that subreddit, you could find a GTX 960, maybe even a 970 or a R9 280(x) or even a R9 290(x) for cheaper than you would be trying to buy a new GPU at the moment.

SSDs have already been hit pretty hard. About 9 months ago you could get a 500GB 850 EVO for $100, now they're up to $170. Now really is the worst time to be buying a PC IMO, especially a mid ranged system.

I think by next month, maybe 6 weeks, GPU prices should start to normalise a bit. I do think it will take a little while for them to get back down to where they were before the rise in mining, but they should start getting better soon.

OP- Yeah, the system is £500 with the &163;100 for GPU. Don't buy from eBay unless you find a good card for a good price there. GPUs are usually more on eBay than youd pay elsewhere for a used card. Maybe even check CeX, they have some pretty good prices on GPUs sometimes.
