If you wana waste your money on KVs stealth and possible tools then sure. Nobody gives a flying f*** about paying for lobbies, you'll be out of pocket with every purchase. I havent used my RGH for 3/4 a year because it's not worth it, plus every other salty hacker will hit you off if you cross them.

i'm not looking to host for a living. I'm looking to host for fun and maybe sometimes sells lobbies, more of a hobby. KVs shouldn't be a problem same with stealth servers. Using paid servers should help with me it's not getting banned instead of using free ones. cost really isn't a big deal to me i'm not gonna be pouring all my money into it.

As others have said, it's not the best money-maker in the world. If you want to mod for money, I join everybody else who says it's not worth it.

Now, if you just want to have it to mess around every now and then, it's worth it.

People still do pay for lobbies, just not as much as before. People still want recoveries but they can be done for free now since you can recover someone remotely.

Also, the price of stealth servers is just RIDICULOUS. I'm glad I'm using a good free stealth at the moment or my RGH would be left to catch dust for a few months.
this is exactly what i was thinking but yeah i know no one gonna really pay unless it's for cohost ,azza, or others things but it's still be fun to mess around with. but if you can please pm the server. Thanks!

To be fair I got mine to make money and have made a lot of profit but then again I go the right way about it, I have friends that got an RGH for the same reason but make £5 a day because they have no idea what they're doing, they don't look professional at all and charge stupid prices

You have to be clever and look at your competitors, offer what they don't and good things might happen

If you're getting it to make money i'd say it's a gamble for you, if you're getting it for fun it will full fill that

I wish you the best of luck

Also if you need any help let me know, I've helped several people new to modding on TTG set up their consoles from scratch

it would be a gamble but i belive i could go the right way about it with some help, maybe not a huge profit but enough to keep me online and playing. I'll PM you if i run into any issues Thanks!

I would purchase a console only from a trusted member, to make sure you don't be scammed.
I'd recommend talking to Rodent_Modz if you're looking to buy a RGH.
His shop: Forums/t=6890587/usa-rodent_modz-...-2012.html

Also Azza's can make you a pretty decent amount of money if you make a name for yourself, recoveries use to make alot of money but not so much anymore, People are mostly just looking for Azzas/CoHost.
If you need any help with setting your RGH up or setting up mod menu's feel free to send me a PM man, Goodluck with getting a console

if elooked at his shop and have thought about purchasing but haven't quite made it definite. i'll have to message him and see what his services are like. Azzas , i know a lot people who would pay for a lobby so yeah that's what i'd be hosting the most i guess. With Co-Host thy shouldn't be hard but more time consuming than anything. Thank you i'll PM you if i ever see something that i can't handle or fix myself!

if anyone is still looking at this post i was wondering something. So i own a old Slim Elite Xbox, i'd rather send it in for service than buy a complete new console. what i was wondering was how do i know what mother board my console is? and are they even possible to RGH

Don't want to be a dick just don't want you to wast money.

hosting for fun , i can understand why you want to do that, its the one thing i give respect for. because most modder these days think there cool but they are little skids how don't know what they are doing "DDOS"

if you want something cool to do on a RGH/Jtag/RJtag, google link aurora.

basically its down to you at the end of the day. if you want to buy a RGH then go for it, its better for you to know its a very low chances of making your money back, and there is a lot more than hosting cod lobbies
