uhhm i got scammed for $75

-Try not to buy from new members.
-Buy from trusted sellers
-stay in the TTG PM systems, i went to skype lol i'm a retard
-if you do buy from a new user pay as goods and services, unlike my stupid self.
-if he says he'll release your address call him a skid.

This is all in the rules i'm only repeating it in this thread because you should really follow them lolz, i'm an idiot for not doing so.

STAY SAFE

Sorry to hear you got scammed from $75.

But everything you said everyone should know unless your mentally challenged.

Don't purchase from new members at all.
Always buy from Trusted Sellers or people in the community who deem trust worthy.
Never go offsite or nothing can be done onsite.
Sending as family and friends literally state 'Family and Friends' never send as that if they're not your friend or family member.
If someone claims to leak your address call their bluff.

Again sorry for what happened, scummy people in the world. Contact an administrator or moderator and they will help deal with it.

I feel you, brother. This was on another site and I was trying to buy an account from an unverified seller, he ended up taking my $35 and blocking communications with me via Skype.

C'est la vie. Lesson learned for next time.

Although all this is common sense, it's nice of you to make this topic so others can see this, considering half of the people who sign up don't even read the rules. You should never purchase from a new member, but if you do make sure they provide A LOT of proof of the item you are planning on buying from them and as you said, always pay through goods and services, not friends and family. Even Rodent who is a pretty well known console seller and is someone who has the trusted seller badge takes payments as goods and services (at least he used to, not sure if he still does) so that should be a sign to not pay through friends and family. If someone that big is still accepting payments through goods and services, then no other sellers should have issues with doing it either. As long as seller has sufficient proof that he shipped the item and it was actually sent to the buyer's address, he will be covered if the buyer decides to try and dispute the payment. Just keep that in mind next time you decide to purchase!
