I am getting better in cs go and I want to start recording for possible frag movies and other clips for esea and stuff. What's a good recording software to use that won't lag me too hard. I have a pretty decent setup I think.
Specs: Case: AZZA Atlas Gaming Case - Black
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P -- AMD 970
Video Card: AMD Radeon RX 470 - 4GB - Single Card
Power Supply: 600 Watt - Standard 80 PLUS Bronze
Hard Drive: 1 TB Hard Drive
Processor: AMD FX-4300 CPU (4x 3.80GHz/4MB L2 Cache)
8GB Memory DDR3
Processor Cooling: Asetek 510LC Liquid CPU Cooling System [AMD]
Disclaimer: I did not build my pc manually. I bought it pre-built 2.5 years ago. My next setup is currently being saved for and will be built manually haha. So don't roast me too hard!
I have used OBS in the past, and it works okay. I just can never get the setting correct.

Either get an expensive capture device or use fraps. They're the two easiest options you have for the current specs you have.
Not to brag , But I have a 1060 6gb and an i7 7700k, with 32gb ram. 2tb hardrive and ssd so my options are quite open.
Capture devices range from $90-200 so it is purely up to you.

OBS works great, you can also use it to stream directly with twitch.

Use OBS, the best free recording and streaming program in my opinion.

32GB is overkill unless you do heavy content creation, rx 480/580 is better then 1060, 7700k's run too hot so 6700k is my fave of the 2, and nothing special about storage. Now to make you feel dumb for bragging here are my specs
i7 6700k @4.7 Ghz, 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz, two GTX 1080 FTW in SLI, 1.1TB between 2 SSD's and a 7200rpm 3TB HDD. But nobody like someone who brags there specs on the inet because people can lie to feel better, it's whatever. It's whatevee he can afford, it's good to feel good about the computer if you built it but don't try to rub mild specs in someones face
Edit: Depending on the frequency of the ram you got you could of bought a 1070 or 1080

i would recommend OBS. 1. because its free. 2. plenty of videos on youtube on how to set it up to stream/record 3. easy to use 4. can stream to anywhere with it 5. because it will help you be happy knowing that you're having fun and recording/streaming!
