So i recently got a new gaming pc build and my screen resolution wont go to 1920x1080 with 60hz i have updated all the drivers and stuff but the thing is on a reandom pc i was able to get 1920x1080 60hz with the same monitor

Are you using a VGA cable? Some VGA cables (someone correct me if I'm wrong) support either 1080i which is basically 720p or 1366X768 resolution. There are VGA cables that are just straight up shit quality and do something like that or ghosting will become a problem.

You might also have to change it in Nvidia Control Panel (assuming you have Nvidia.) Open Nvidia Control Panel > Display > Adjust Desktop Size and Position and you should be good to go and make it 1080p.

If none of those work, what OS are you on?
