HELP!!!



My Xbox is now prompting me to update to the latest dashboard, which i am already on. Do i select yes and let it update or do i take a different route around this because obliviously it wont let me get online until i do something about the update required.

DO NOT UPDATE. If I'm not mistaken, there's a way around this but do not do anything until someone with more expertise in this answers.

Are you on 17511? If so, see if your avatars look like ghosts. Most likely an avatar update if you have been online this year

Which I know you have been online, therefore it is safe to update

You said you are on the latest dashboard, but just to confirm, you are on 17511 correct? If you are, check your avatars. If they are grayed out, then you are safe to update.
