My CPU driver is apparently really out of date.
But every time I go to the MAD website to get what I need, I get this constant 're-image repair' pop up therefore I am unable to update my CPU! Can somebody help me out would be very much appreciated!

Use AdwCleaner to get rid of the browser hijack: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
CPU microcode updates are done through Windows update if AMD/Intel decides to change something. Motherboard BIOS updates can fix CPU-related bugs and add compatibility for new CPUs.
By "CPU" do you mean "Central Processing Unit" or just "computer?" What are you trying to update?

It does not. The site you used gets paid when you click that link and misled you. Everything the CPU needs is included with Windows and your motherboard.

To give a little explanation about this. He wanted to see if CSGO would run on his PC, which he used the "Can I Run It" website to see if CSGO would run. The website told him his drivers were out of date. He posted about it with his specs, with his CPU being the AMD K10 and using the ATI Radeon HD 4200 as his video output; I can't for the life of me remember where the hell that CPU driver is on AMD's website or his iGPU so I told him to use their automatically detect his driver to see if any updates were needed on his CPU. Can I Run It, is anal about these things, which I already mentioned isn't too important, the overall information on your CPU, GPU and RAM is more important.

That's the site I linked him. Don't know where he found "MAD website" or ended up installing something in order to have his browser hijacked with that adware lol
