Been playing around with different images because im trying to get the process down of doing this sort of thing since im very new to after effects especially,

I noticed on your 3rd attempt that the roman statue sort of looked 2D because of the statue angle but this 4th attempt looks just like the example on the After Effects website for the plug in you are using. What does it look like if you do that effect on a hot chick?

What exactly do you do? Just edit the texture with a drip sort of effect?

I'm determined to start incroporating pixel sort in my motion work as it appeals very nicely.

or if you're not looking to spend any money, and just want to have this effect on a still image, this can be easily achieved in photoshop.
it's really just simple masking and making use of the wind filter.

i'm talking about the video, in which he goes over 2 ae plugins that you can buy.
also, if i were you i'd not be so thrilled to go around advocating piracy, it really is a shit thing to do.
