Yeah, I'm always renting out my lobbies! A lot of people want remote recoveries so I bought the chaotic360 lifetime for $20 and people are willing to pay around $5-10 for there rank and camos! So about 2-4 people you make your money back!

Also a kv costs around $5-10 now a day instead of $60 and lasts a couple of hours! Depending what stealth you use, I tend to use xbonline and my kv has been unbanned for 6-7 days now, so you think if I rent my lobby for $5 an hour or $3 for 30mins! Roughly an hour will cover your kv cost, and if you host more than one everything is profit..

Plus you get paid to play cod (the bigger picture)

It all depends, you can't offer recoveries without a sticky or the trusted seller badge.

Black Ops 2 was a big thing when it was backwards comp, it's died down now but I made about 800$ the week of the backwards comp, now I've not had my console online for a bit due to breaking my laptop. although people starting doing ghost camos and charged was quiet good also, it all comes down to your prices etc. I always made my money back and in the end I've made profit, but I've always put it back into modding, I've kept some for myself a few 100 here and there, but it's better to do it for fun

Since Rockstar stopped allowing characters to be taken over to next gen the profits from RGH's has plummeted. There is money to be made in COD Modding, but nothing to what was being made from GTA.

Personally I would advise against getting a RGH if you only wanna earn some money. If your looking for fun though then yeah, I would get one.

I've read both sides of the story. People who make lots of money from doing recoveries: these people usually own a sticky and have a well-made thread that explains what they sell. The stickied sellers can sell recoveries for ALL CoDs, unlike the non-stickied seller who can only sell Co-host or remote recoveries for Black Ops 2.

But, in all honesty, if you're wanting an RGH for the money, I wouldn't do it. Everybody and their grandmother has an RGH now and the competition is very strong between modding stores right now. You've gotta watch the prices and match them so that you can compete with others, you've gotta become a trusted and active user on the site for people to actually buy from you, etcetera.

There is still some money to be made, however it is a lot harder now. You do need a sticky to do recoveries on here so keep that in mind. Youhave to put in money to make money. Meaning, if you don't have any good tools, you will need to purchase some so you can offer the same thing others do. If you don't have any good menus for games, you might also have to purchase that as people often request menu rentals. If you don't currently have all the stuff you need, I would look into getting that stuff before getting a sticky. Having a sticky used to be a lot better back when everyone had the same prices. Couple months, maybe even a year back there were a certain group of us sticky members that all agreed on having the same prices, which average was about $10-$15 per COD. Those were the good times, making at least 5x as much as you paid for the sticky in just a week, maybe even a couple days. The costs of stickies was actually more before and you were still making more than you are now, but that's what happens when people can't come to a set price and want to undercut others. I've had a sticky for about 2 years now and since I started out, I have had the same prices and everything was perfectly fine, but in the past couple months, I was pretty much forced to lower my prices because of others offering the same thing for lower prices.
