My childhood cat Luna has been in my life for about 10 years now and was a big part of my childhood. She is an outside cat and we usually let her out every time she goes to the door, she usually comes back within a day or 2. About a week or 2 ago I had thought that she had been stolen or had died outside when she finally came back after 1 Month.. She was very skinny and was not feeling well, she had been going in my basement and laying and the hard floor when we put her bed out, it's been about a week now since she came back and she is starting to lose her balance while she is walking and cannot eat her food like she used to. She used to be about 10-12 pounds but now she is less than 5 pounds, I have brought her to the vet and she had blood work done on her, she had a tumor in her stomach but everything else was fine, we had to stop feeding her milk and force feed her cat food with nutricion in it. She is holding up fine but I feel that she's coming to an end. She goes up to eat her food and doesn't eat a single bite until I feed her something else, force feeding her food and water feels like it's not doing anything for her.

If there is anything I can do to get her to gain more weight and get more healthy quick let me know because I don't think she has much longer

That's what she looks like now, I just hope she will get better before it's too late

Very unfortunate for this to happen to your cat. Best of luck with her and hope everything turns out well

Really sucks to hear, as I'm a huge animal lover. Has your vet not given you any other advice on what to do? You say she had a tumor in her stomach but does she still have it? I would say to try giving her a different cat food but I don't think it's good to switch her in her current state. I don't have much advice but it really sucks to hear and I hope everything goes okay.

There's nothing worse (in that area) than losing a childhood pet, they were your friends before you grew up and made any. My prayers go to your cat man, I hope she gets better!

I'm not a cat guy but even her face looks unhealthy, I'd recommend cutting down her time outside so you can watch her more even just until she's better.

Speak with your vet about the removal of the tumor and maybe start keeping a plan on how and what she eat's. I know with obese dog's (from my experience) I recorded everything, weight, food, meals, walk's had good contact with the vet to ensure the animal's health stayed up to scratch.

Best wishes with your pet, always sad to see your pet's unwell!
