Readin some of the replies on this thread actually make me cringe.
It's not fighting, its boxing. Floyd is the best ever boxer, and McGregor struggles against amateur boxers in sparring. I don't care how much you use the argument of Floyd being old etc, he's not been inactive, he still boxes and spars. He's simply the best ever, and a defensive boxer who wins by doing exactly that; boxing. Boxing isn't a knockout game, it's a point scoring sport.
It's a Floyd win 100/100 times.

You do realise conor is in his prime and floyds 40. I am not saying age has anything to do with and floyd will probably win but WHAT IF mcgregor caught him with a left hook its game over for floyd.

Yeh, and Floyd at 40 is a better boxer than McGregor at current time, and what if? What if pigs fly?

Gavin- wroteIt's not like everything is impossible. Of course he could upset. But will he? 99/100 times no. Floyd has been the best boxer of this era, possibly best ever. McGregor is a MMA fighter. Not a boxer. Floyd could be 40 and he'll still have the upper hand because this is boxing.Fielding wrote Readin some of the replies on this thread actually make me cringe.

Maywhether is far from the best boxer. Mohammed Ali?
-- I'm still undecided to who as I think will win. There's a lot of things you need to factor into the equation.
I'm hoping for Connor to win, but it may not play out that way

How is McGregor even winning in the poll voting? There's no way McGregor, UFC star, could beat a professional, proclaimed BOXER in a BOXING ring.
If we were to put Mayweather within the confines of an MMA octagon against McGregor, of course Floyd would be crushed within a matter of the first few rounds. But in this case, we're putting a brutal martial arts specialist into a more "elegant" fighting sport, which is boxing. He can't head-kick, he can't knee Mayweather, he can't do any of the common moves that are used in MMA (other than punches) in the boxing ring.
Nothing's impossible but in this case, there's no way McGregor is going to beat Floyd 'Money' Mayweather in the boxing ring.
