So, I did one of these back in January, and I got some pretty interesting questions, so I decided I will be doing another one of these. Here's a little bit about me: I am 20 years old (turning 21 in just four days), I am a US Army Veteran and a Graphic Designer. I served with the 10th Mountain Division (1-10 ARB and 6-6 CAV) as an AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopter Repairer (MOS: 15R) under a Line Company, so I was responsible for my own aircraft. I have been a Graphic Designer for about eight years now, but still to this day learning more and more. I also work with Artix Entertainment as a Moderator for a popular online MMO-RPG, and I also work under Quality Assurance, so I get to break stuff; which was interesting to fix stuff during my day job, and break stuff later on in the evening. I am currently in the process of establishing a local business, and also attending school to hone my skills as an Industrial and Residential Electrician. (I'm not staying in this profession, however. I have plans to train as a pilot and hopefully attend WOFT and become a pilot as a Warrant Officer in the US Army).

That's enough about me, however - ask away! Good questions will receive rep.

Thanks for your service m8.

My question, how many hours of sleep does it take for you to have a normal functioning day?

Nope, I was a maintainer. My job was to ensure the safety of flight and to make sure the aircraft stays in the air, I was essentially responsible for two lives, not including the troops on the ground. In the event of troops in contact, pilots would load up and provide fire support.

I hardly ever sleep anymore, I'm lucky to sleep a full four hours without waking up several times in between. It was about the same whilst I was in the service, but that could also be some sort of memory induced by the copious amount of caffeine that I drank on a daily basis. But ideally, I try to get six or seven hours of sleep in order to have a "normal" day.

This is awesome buddy. I just got back from vegas for my 21st birthday. I've been working construction in my dads business and have learned the trade in the last 5 years of working. But It has never been my passion. So I'm planing on going to school to do something with computers. Haven't quite figured it out yet. I got alittle into graphics/coding on my own without school. I've also build a few custom pcs. But my passion is for sure to do something with computers. I race pro motocross my childhood. And then I got really sick for a year of two which was horiable but I've over came that and am ready to follow a passion of mine. I see so much money in the construction business but like I said it's not my passion. But I learned it so I can always fall back on it. I've been kinda looking into joining the military. But not quite sure yet. You sound like you have done a lot for only being 20 like myself. I would love to talk to u more about your life and I can share some of my own experiences. I will pm you when I get off work. Btw that you for your service!

I have a few questions.

Was it difficult to do maintenance on your Apache?
Did you ever fly into an active combat zone?

What type of stuff did you get to break in your job as Quality Assurance?

What's the MMO-RPG you are a part of and how long have you been an administrator there?

What made you fall in love with graphics? I've seen your work and I know you put your very best efforts towards your work.

That's all the questions I have for now.

First I'd like to say thank you for your service.
I have family members from both sides of my family that are also fighting for our Country.

My question is,

Has graphic designing always been your passion?

If not, at a younger age what helped you get into graphic designing?
