ive been offered a GTX 1080 for £350 just wondering if it is worth it with my build

specs: i5 6500
8gb RAM
R9 380 4gb

yea if you can, go for it, 1080 is beast,
if youre worried with bottleneck, looking around, your cpu should be fine

You would be fine, it really depends on the resolution you plan on gaming (if you are) at, that or the use of the system in general.

£350 for a 1080 is a good deal but that also depends on the condition the card is in.

As for monitors, you don't have to upgrade straight away but I would definitely look into 1440p and high refresh rate monitors.

Just make sure your case and power supply is compatible with the 1080 you've been offered. If you don't know then feel free to post what 1080 it is by it's model and the same for your case and PSU.

The 1080 is a evga FTW2 ICX I've got a evga 650w G2 and the cooler master n200 I checked and I'm pretty sure it will be fine but just to double check
