I live in Kentucky and it will be 100% here. Can't wait to see it tommorow at noon, also I heard it was 45 years until another one here. May be wrong though so don't quote me on that haha. Anyway, can't wait!

I don't think it will be that long. I remember seeing one when I was a kid. And they say the last one was in 1979 Think it's around 38 years or so Don't quote me for sure but think you will see a couple in your life span. .

Update*
The eclipse was amazing, we ended up seeing the total eclipse!
The rafting company wanted to leave early so we could get a good spot to see the eclipse and wow. Most unreal natural thing I've ever seen. The rafting was pretty awesome as well. Went overboard a few times, but nothing bad.
If you ever find yourself near a little town (in the summer) in Oregon called Maupin, go to River Drifters. They provide a great experience while rafting. Definitely worth the $75.

These happen every once in a while all over the world. It might only happen that many times in the area that you live though.
