I need some recommendations for monitors to get to be able to get the most out of the new xbox one x when it drops, I currently don't have a monitor to play on but I'm in the process of switching to a desk based set-up so I'm going to be buying a new monitor regardless. I've looked around at different price points but I'm not sure what to go for, I couldn't care less about a curved monitor all I want is a decent 4k monitor with the best response time for the cheapest price. Size wise 24inch-28inch, not entirely fussed on that factor too, more of just wanting a monitor which will do that job I'm wanting.
Edit: I'm from the UK, any recommendations to sites/products would be recommended if they can either ship or sell in the UK.

In the US, you can get the "LG - 27UD58-B 27.0" 3840x2160 60Hz Monitor" for $339.99 right now. If I were to buy a 4K monitor it'd be this one. It's the cheapest 24+ in IPS display on the market (from a reputable brand).
In the UK, it is still the cheapest 24+ inch 4K IPS display at £329.97 on Amazon: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
If you want to look at more monitors just visit uk.pcpartpicker.com , then "browse by individual parts", then click monitors, use filters on the side and select 3840x2160p resolution (4K) and move the screen size slider up to 24 inches (I also filtered IPS displays bc they're better than any TN panel in general).
I hope this helps
Cheers

Seems like a great monitor for the price, the only thing that I'm on the edge with is the response time of 5ms. Is it really a huge difference between 1ms or 5ms response time? Or are people just being fussy with stuff like this.

Although recommended monitor looks great, would I be better of going for a TN Panel monitor w/ 1ms response time if I tend to play more FPS games rather than RPG/Adventure games? Jw.

Honestly for console gaming get this the price is right for one. With an ips panel your getting better color, the response time on this will do just fine

Further reading at some reviews, this monitor only supports 60hz 4k via display port and will be limited at 30hz via HDMI. I'm not the technical person to know is this a massive issue or not?
