Hi, for some reason I have ended up with a program on my computer called "hotshot shield VPN'. I have tried to remove the program through the included install, however this does not work, (Picture of uninstall error below) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
These are the notifications I get constantly. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I have tried to delete it through the regedit, but it wont go away after i have deleted the files. I believe this is most likely a virus but not sure.

How are you trying to uninstall it? (Ex. Control Panel, or The Uninstall.exe)

Try to Open Task Manager, go to Details close Explorer.exe, and then go to File -> Run New Task -> Type Explorer.exe and check the box "Create this task with Administrative Privileges" and Try using Control Panel Again
