They are fine as I have had them before I swapped them for something else.

Honestly RAM is RAM and it makes hardly no difference what set you get, speed and timings only make a small difference when it comes to Intel but unless you're using Ryzen, a set of 2400Mhz will do the job fine. Of course you can always getting a set that matches the colour of your PC or something.

honestly i would wait intel they go down in price about 3 months ago they were 90 pounds and even that is still expensive and about a year ago they were 70 pounds

RAM isn't going down in price anytime time soon, it's been more expensive for the past year. Don't expect it to drop anytime soon especially in the UK.
