Im not into cars too much, but for my first car id like a nice looking car to get customized a little bit.

$5,000 max on the car. up to $2000 on specs . If anyone has suggestions that would be awesome, thanks!

where do you live. What are you after. Big, small, 4 door, 2 door, speedy, safe etc. What do you mean $2000 on specs? I assume you mean mods. If your not into cars I wouldn't bother with mods just leave the car standard (better resale value most of the time) and keep that $2000 for servicing, repairs, insurance etc.

My friend has an 04 TL and loves it. It's been lowered an inch or so and has multiple mods done to the engine to boost performace. Try that out
