So basically I've just started studying again, and I really want to follow the right path this year. When I finish 6th form I want to go on to University and become a Police Officer, I just need some inspiration and a maybe a path to follow. Any suggestions or comments will help, many thanks.

Firstly you dont need uni but its defiantly helpful. During the time in between joining and now keep fit and healthy. You could become a PCSO or Special constable in your local constabulary in the meantime which will greatly improve your chances of success when joining the police force.
If you are unsure what uni course to take then look into criminology or psychology.
If your local police force is not accepting new officers which quite a few aren't then look into becoming mod plod or MP (military police).
Good luck

Some forces you only need 5 GCSE A*- C, some you need Alevels but anything extra is a huge bonus and can fast track your career with specific work experience or qualifications. If you speak 3 languages and have knowledge of a martial art then you will shine over a person who has left school with their GCSE's and thought "what now".
Been a special for a year is a big bonus which will give you the work experience and powers of a normal officer but part time while you study/ gain qualifications.
