my mom was bring this up this morning WW3 is suppose to start as well thats part of revelations also angels with sound trumpets from clouds considering all the stuff going on with North Korea were on brink of WW3 depending if we strike first china will be on there side so theres that so its starting to look like the end of the world but as pollynot said no one will know the actual day not even the angels.

I don't think the world is ending but damn a lot of crazy shit going on in a short period of time.

No. We're just seeing a lot of what the future has to hold for us thanks to our recklessness when it comes to not caring about climate change.

This chapter is Jesus talking to his disciples and explaining to them how they will know the end times are near.
The entire chapter of Luke 21 is this speech so all of the things he says in that chapter have to happen together for it to be the end times.

Along with storms, solar eclipses, and countries being angry at each other, it has to be just before summer:

"Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near."

Jesus was speaking in the Middle East when he said this, unsurprisingly, and summer starts in May in the Middle East.
So either the apocalypse is late or Jesus wasn't too good with his seasons.

But the boulder in front of the tomb for this entire speech and the reason why it is never going to happen is in a line towards the end of the speech:

"Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened."

Considering the generation of people he is talking to passed away about 2000 years ago it is a physical impossibility for this prophecy to come true, unless Jesus decides to add time travel to his list of superpowers. If anyone ever presents you with a Bible quote about revelation or prophecy the first thing you should do is look at it in context, they tend to debunk themselves.

The antichrist has to have risen first before the world is destroyed. My money is on the large hadron collider (CERN) will accomplish that, but that's just my personal speculation. The top researcher at CERN says something might go in and something might come out. Now who and the world thinks that's a good idea???

No one know's when the world will end not even the angels will know...... Every time something like this happens they use the bible to justify when the end is coming, and to scare people.

But like he said, no one knows so no need to freak yourself out now.
