My PC is shutting off when I game.
Any games I play. PubG, CSGO, GTA, even Roblox.

Sometimes it will shut off if I have a few things going on at once, Playing video, writing a paper, and downloading something at the same time will also cause it to shut off.

When the PC shuts off, the lights are still on. The GPU lights will still be on but they are flashing.
All my motherboard lights are on aswell.
So there is still power to the system but nothing is running, the screens go black and nothing actually on.

It says this for every processor (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)

Performance power management features on processor 7 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

Event ID: 35

I googled this and I see people talking about speedstep being enabled but then it mentions thats only with Intel processors? I have AMD..?

Also just noticed I have these:

Event ID: 41

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

This is the error code that is given for every shutdown thats happened.

Specs:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 1400 3.2GHz
GPU: GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce GTX 1060 6G REV 2.0
Mobo: Asus - PRIME B350-PLUS ATX AM4
Ram: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB DDR4 (2x8)
PSU: EVGA - BV 450W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Temps during gaming:

CPU: 22c - 31c
GPU: 42c - 53c

Things I have already done:

Removed a stick of ram
Changed ram slots
Reinstalled all components
Secured connections

I do not have a compatible spare PSU to test otherwise I would have tried that

A 450 running your gaming rig, ouch. Yea man, I would say it's your power supply causing this issue. Especially since it will even turn off with out being under a lot of load. In case it somehow is software, run combo fix, malwarebites, and sfc /SCANNOW before throwing another PSU at it.

Fixed the issue. I posted this off-site and it a couple guys figured it out.

The 450 is enough to run the system... surprisingly.

In total the rig pulls 378.

It ended up being the CPU, wasn't set right or somehow shifted. I re-paste and resit the CPU. Fixed the issue.

I did add a bigger PSU a few days ago just in case for when I upgrade down the road.

Well sh**t, that is actually impressive . The CPU wasn't set right? I would have never guessed that. It's just odd to me because the AMD CPU's have pins sticking that would help place it in correctly. But hey, I've seen wilder things in my day haha.

Yeah I have no idea how.

More then likely it was just the fan heatsink and the CPU was just off.
