I understand that taking out a loan and applying for a credit car is going to be very unreliable. However, I don't think I need a load as if i'm financing from the jewellers themself, surely I can just pay from my debit card the monthly fee? I get paid around 250-300 a month and the Jewellers are selliing the watch for 109 a month for (30months) and there is 0% interest! I mean as I said I have a car sorted and nonetheless I will still have around 3/5 of my work money left to spend/invest +plus money from my parents so it shouldn't prevent me from buying the necessities + (more smart option for some).

Thanks for replies!

Negative, they probably aren't the ones that are offering the financing. See they work with the banks and the banks give them some kick back if the seller makes that bank the first one that they offer for financing.

Furthermore, read the fine print on that 0% APR and 109/mo. That is for "qualifying candidates" You have no credit therefore you do not qualify. You are still not of age to legally sign a contract so there is between about 0% and not a chance in hell that you will get financing. Also with that 0%, it might be for the first year, 6 months, or even just the first month, a lot of places do that so they can advertise the 0% but then after the year you pay out the ass. Let's assume this watch is $7k because I'm not going to do the research on something that won't happen for you. To qualify you will have to put down at least 33% (closer to 50% in most cases), so now you owe 4,666.66. That's a 42.8 month loan, but most banks work in years, so you'd be at the bare minimum of a 48 month loan but I'd bet that it's closer to a 60 month loan.

My advice to you is, don't. Even if you could, still don't. They check your annual/monthly salary and they will see that £300 isn't reliable at all. What happens if you lose that job? How much have you got saved up? You need to also remember that £100 is going to be coming out of your bank for the next 4 years of your life... You don't know your future circumstances and could you risk the negative credit rating? I wanted a pair of Gucci high tops when I was 16 and I wanted to finance them so bad and they were only around £500 so that's not even a fraction of it. No one could tell me no, but in the end, I didn't even get them. It was a phase I was going through, so think about it for a few weeks, maybe a couple of months and if you still want the watch that bad, get it.
