so im looking into building a new gaming computer and I already looked into it and drafted up a build that is just shy of 1300 us dollars which is my budget. I was wondering if any of you guys could can think of anything that would improve performance for about the same price or suggestions of any kind. im trying to also stick to a black and white build.

Well, what exactly are you using the system for? What games will you be playing, and what programs will you be using, if any?
Do you already have the monitor(s) for the system, if so what monitor(s)?
Will you be overclocking?

Don't buy a 212 EVO, it's a poor choice.

About $10 more expensive than your original system, but significantly better. I wouldn't recommend getting the 6700k or 7700k though, it would definitely be worth waiting another 2 weeks or so for Coffee Lake to launch, and get a 6 core i7-8700k with a Z370 motherboard. I included a better, nicer, easier to install, quieter CPU cooler, a better motherboard with SLI support. Larger capacity, and better SSD. You can swap to a 250GB 850 EVO and 1TB HDD for the same price, but I'd go with the 500GB 850 EVO for now, then add a 1TB OR 2TB HDD later when you have some more money. Much nicer, better quality case with a tempered glass window. I'd personally go with a Fractal Design Meshify C for $5 more, but I stuck with the P400 for you to stick with the white colour scheme a little better, since the Meshify C only comes in black.

No performance difference for his use really, and occupying all your slots with low capacity sticks isn't much of a good choice IMO.
Also the price is over done over $50 more for the same thing as a 2x8.
