Any way you could connect your computer to your jtag/rgh or even better connect your rgh directly to your router?

I can plug an Ethernet from my rgh to my computer but this cuts off my live connection

Don't be worried about Live connection, that can be sorted later via a hotspot and network sharing if need be. Are you able to connect to Xbox neighborhood while plugged in via ethernet?

Don't be worried about Live connection, that can be sorted later via a hotspot and network sharing if need be. Are you able to connect to Xbox neighborhood while plugged in via ethernet?
ive connected my rgh using ethernet and live is working, i have a bridged connection and can see the rgh in neighborhood but still cannot connect with the cod tool

No tools working = you are not connected to Xbox neighborhood.

i am as i can open games through it etc if i wasnt connected that wouldnt work would it

The Dll files that come with the tool need to be in the same folder, are you keeping them in same folder as the tool? Another thing is make sure you saved the plugins. Meaning when you set plugins, click rb, go down to hdd and press x to save.
