Regardless, an i7-7700k is not an upgrade from your current CPU. A 7700k is a 6700k with shitty TIM and higher clock speeds, that's pretty much it. 6700k vs 7700k at the same clock speeds will perform the exact same. So it's not worth paying $700 for a new CPU, cooler, and motherboard to get maybe an extra 200-300MHz clock speed. Even IF the 7700k did make sense as an upgrade for you, you don't need a new motherboard. Oh, and as for that cooler, $200 is stupid. The newer revision of the same cooler is like $40-50 less;

I wouldn't be buying an H440, especially if you've already got an Enthoo Pro. I have an H440, and it's fine but it looks dated now, and airflow is tragic.

I wouldn't be getting those fans. I'd spend less money on better fans and just use LED strips for lighting.

Don't get those speakers, get something better. I'm sure you can get better speakers for a similar price point;

Don't pay $125 for another 650W PSU, that just makes no sense. The EVGA 650W GS is a perfectly good PSU, it's even a Seasonic OEM I think, so you'd literally be paying $125 to move from one Seasonic 650W PSU, to another Seasonic 650W PSU.

Don't buy a WD Black, they're just over priced. $185 is too much for a 4TB HDD;

Thank you for the reply, you actually helped me out with my first build, Sanctorum. ;)

I completely forgot about the upcoming launch of Coffee Lake. I don't plan on finishing this build soon anyway so I'll definitely sit tight until benchmarks are out for the 8700k.

The motherboard upgrade is most likely going to happen regardless because I'm selling what I have now for just about what I paid for it originally. I'll be looking for one with the Z370 chipset if I go with the 8700k, of course.

The cooler is expensive for what it is, I'm aware, but I have some extra change because I'm keeping my current RAM and SSD so I'd like something that is also aesthetically pleasing.

I'm not completely heart-set on the case yet. The Enthoo Pro is nice and all, but I moved into a new home recently and it's rather large for my new setup. I'm open to suggestions completely in regards to cases.

The fans can be switched out easily. I might not even need that many.

The Seasonic PSU has been crushing EVGA in benchmarks this year and that's why I decided to do the switch. Also, it's being included in the sale of my current PC so the buyer doesn't have to get one.

I tend to stick with Logitech for the speakers because they're small, they sound nice, and I have lots of experience with them but I have no problem looking around for something different to switch it up.

Lastly, I'm going to go with the Toshiba HDD you recommended, so thank you for that. (y)

No, it's literally not worth $200. It's a $150 cooler. Get the X62 if you want, but don't pay $200 for it.

Fractal Design Meshify C, or Define C TG. Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG, or Eclipse P400(S) TG. The H440 isn't much smaller than the Enthoo Pro FYI.

You definitely don't. You won't be able to fit 6 x 120mm fans and a 280mm AIO in to your system unless you get a stupid big case.

Ignore value, that's a 9.67 for the Seasonic Prime unit, and 9.33 for the EVGA GS. So you're paying $125 for a slightly more efficient PSU, that is ever so slightly better in terms of quality. Totally not worth it. Also, the EVGA GS IS a Seasonic PSU.

They're really not good at all. Either of the speakers I suggested would be better. I used Logitech speakers for a month or 2 a while back because it's all I could find quickly to last until I got better speakers, and they were terrible. I hated them.
