Looking to know how much it would be for painting the front and back badges of my Polo? (UK)

Plastidip or buy blacked out badges. It'll be a lot cheaper, a lot cleaner, and a lot better than painting your current ones.

Not sure if you already did it but what I did is plasti-dip all the emblems/chrome then painted on top of that.

At the time it was just in case I decided to sell the car so I could just peel off everything and it would be factory.

Only thing is with this is that you have to plasti-dip it in light coats so it sprays even and finishes smooth.
If it drys with any bubbles or blemishes they showed 2x worse when I painted over them.
Took a second attempt but it looks good now.

You need MANY MANY coats of plastidip if you want to peel it off too. If it's just a few light coats of the product then it won't come off easy.

Have fun getting that off your car. I'd use brake cleaner, it works wanders. We had to peal plastidip off a set of wheels I got my dad for his Escalade and the guy had a very thin coat on. Little brake cleaner and it wipes right off.

I bought a mustang and all the emblems were plasti dipped. It was terrible. Fingernail and brake cleaner.

It's not too bad to get off, but yes brake cleaner works as well. I actually have used brake cleaner for cleaning many things haha.
