Blizzard wrote I mean I thinks it's disrespectful to America , just think who pays these football players "America"

Why would you Neal when they pay respects to people who layed down an died for us what is with people and not being racist what so ever but 90% or them is black an you mean to tell me it hurts your pride or ego to hold your hand on your heart for 45 seconds to a minute to show respect for those who died !!

Still confused on why you would Neal for the anthem
What you just said is why they kneel lmao, discrimination in the US is real and not sure if people are delusional but just because you don't pay full respect to those who died doesn't mean you don't care about them. Not like anything will get done in the US with nobody actually doing something about it and if this is what needs to happen then so be it. It's not anything related to "pride or ego", what do you mean? You said it yourself. A good majority of the league is black, and there's tons of cases where they've been discriminated because they're black and even recently it's occurred to a pretty well known player if you're into the NFL.

America as people might pay their salaries, but money doesn't mean shit when stuff like this is going on.
you got a good point but still An was this recent player a rookie?
Lmao no and why would that matter?

It's a huge problem that I'm not sure will ever come to a silence and be solved. A lot of people on the internet are blaming Donald Trump, but that's not the case. It's disrespectful, in my opinion, but who will finally step out of the shadows in the NFL and make a statement against it?

I dont think the NFL games are the place to protest oppression, or whatever the reasons are now. They are about to go play a game of football, where millions of people are supporting them no matter their color, and currently being paid millions. Just dont think its the time and place, and could keep you having a job in the future, like Kaepernick.

It is kinda sad that the protest has been turned away from what the original protest was about.

Original protest: Bring awareness to cultural and racial inequalities affecting minorities.

What the protest has been twisted into: Showing disrespect towards the anthem. Showing disrespect towards the flag. Showing disrespect towards the veterans. KNEELING!

More coverage has been placed on "the flag" than the actual problems facing racial and cultural minorities.

I do not agree that kneeling during the national anthem is the BEST way to get your message across, but it has definitely brought awareness to an issue that is very prevalent in the United States. Many of the players who have kneeled have explained that in no way, shape or form do they mean disrespect towards our military, flag, anthem or country. They simply want to use their stature to speak out against these inequalities and I support them 100%.

Im hoping that we can all get away from the kneeling aspect of the protest and start focusing on the main issues. That would make the world a better place.
