Hey everyone, so recently I upgraded my GPU to a 1050 Ti but ever since I got it I've been getting a fair amount of stuttering in the games I play. I have tried going into the Nvidia settings and changing the games vertical sync to fast but its not giving me much of a difference. I think its my CPU bottlenecking or my RAM is just awful; just asking here so I know what the issue is and how I can repair it. Thanks for the help everyone!

(and yes, I know I need to upgrade my monitor; my other one broke so I'm using my old TV atm till I have the funds to buy a new monitor)

Shouldn't be bottlenecking at all. The screenshot you provided is that when you're playing games. I need to rule out if any overheating is going on the background as this can cause lag and the stuttering as you've mentioned.

Also do the basic things like check for driver updates for your GPU and CPU.

Can you get us a screenshot for when you're playing games so we look at your temps?

Thanks

EDIT: Let me know what make and model your PSU is

Checked GPU drivers and they're all up to date. I got the temps from 2 games; overwatch and GTA

Buy an SSD, you should see better overall performance.

What OS you on? Try repairing your OS or running a chkdsk in CMD - won't do a thing however it's nice to do one every so offen.

I got a couple of ideas off the top of my head that you could try.

1. First thought it mabey the Vsync, I had to disable it in game, and then enable it from the Nvidia control panel.
2. Could try uninstalling Geforce experience. It's been too intrusive for a while now.
3. Check the Disk usage under task manager and see what that's running at.
4. Uninstall the GPU drivers you have now and do a fresh reinstall of them.
5. Make sure that the default graphics card, and interface mode selection is also set to just the Pci-e selection.
Not in a Mixed mode of Pci-e / Igpu ect. That's gonna be in Bios btw.

Is this with just one game or is this happening on multiple games? You would know if the CPU was being bottlenecked if it was sitting at 100%.
