Since I stopped drinking, a couple of bottles of beer will get me pretty tipsy now lol. I used to handle my drink pretty well when I was younger(yay binge drinking culture in the UK), but then I stopped drinking alcohol for around 2 years. Had my first drink in around 2 years at the start of this year(early March I think) and I was really fkd up after sharing a 6 pack of beer and a small bottle of vodka with a friend.

Kudos to you for being able to quit as not many people can. It's a pretty nasty hobby that is counter-intuitive to my lifestyle, so I personally don't drink often anymore and really only do so in a social setting.

I have other bad habits to replace alcohol with anyway lol. I just kind of stopped enjoying alcohol and the entire binge drinking culture in the UK so stopped. Only reason I started again is because I stopped some of my other bad habits and my friends were going to a lot of stuff I was interested in and ended up just drinking again. Been 2 months since my last drink though, so looks like I'm a Summer drinker now apparently lol.

it really just depends, if I'm drinking fast then maybe 7-8 beers, if I'm drinking slow throughout the day then maybe more like 15-20

I usually do drink vodka first, then have a couple beers later in the night, but only because I prefer the taste of a vodka + irn bru to the taste of beer lol. The few times I have drank beer before spirits, I've actually been fine which is weird because all my friends seem to react pretty badly to it lol
