In my opinion I think they will remaster MW2 because it hasn't became back words compatible. But in your theory I don't think they would, there to focused on the future of call of duty.

Nah i doubt it, its probably because of the cater that cod had with the xbox for so many years before moving to ps4(like 1 month early dlc's over xbox and pc.)

But if its going to be anything, they're probably going to release mw2/mw3 in a bundle in the middle of the year, or probably bunch it with a new cod next year. just in case they mess up and do another advanced warfare mishap, just so their sales don't go down.

Can you imagine if they bunched mw2 with a horrible reviewed cod like advanced warfare? it will still make top charts just because it comes with such an amazing game.

just like cod4 was bunched with that uncompleted disgrace, infinite warfare.

now i can't vouch for cod 2 and 3 because i never played them, but doesn't those games and ww2 take place in the same years? or am i mistaken ?

Activison is all about money so there is no telling what there going to do tbh

I'm pretty sure sony said no to activision making games backwards compatible on ps4 was due to the amount of modders. Same reason rockstar took out the character transfer feature. Think about it on xbox if you get 3 accounts permanently banned you get a console ban. If you get a console ban you have to buy a new xbox. Now if you have a xbox one and your are playing a backwards compatible game and you join a lobby you put your account at risk of being banned. Microsoft has also changed their policies since the xbox one has came out and they have made it more strict. They will literally ban people for no reason these days just in a way to make more money. I personally dont think that microsoft have made the games backwards compatible for the fans i think they have done it to bring in extra money.

But on the terms of remastered games i personally reckon they will remaster all the call of dutys because it saves them time and effort seeing as all they would have to do would be change a couple of values and update the graphics

I would take a wild guess that they remaster a cod every time a new one comes out but I'm probably wrong would be a decent idea tho but when do they ever listen to there players
