Ever since my group of "friends" & I got in this argument it's been weird.
When we go out of town to say, the beach. I am always the one driving. I pick everyone up, drop them off after. They all live in different areas. It was cool at first I didn't mind because they're my friends but it wasn't until I got tired of driving & asked someone else to drive. Keep in mind that everyone else in the group has a car & job & is able to drive . No one wants to drive though. One day I didn't wanna drive & asked someone else to drive & they got mad. We argued for like 30 mins on how it wasn't fair that I'm always driving and usually the places we go to are not close to where we live. I usually drive more than 1 1/2 hours one way, then back. I told them that if they wanted me to drive that someone would have to pay for the parking fee (usually more than $15) and buy me a meal. I would pay for gas.
Before I told them that though I never asked any of them for any type of money.
I was always the one that was paying the tolls, parking fees, ext. Also usually 4 other people go so they could easily split the parking/meal thing.
None of them have even the kind gesture to maybe offer to pay parking or gas money.
After I told them they kicked me from the main group chat & told me that I was out of the group.
What do you think, am I asking for to much? I've stopped talking to all of them on a regular basis.

Seems like they were just taking advantage of you. Let this be a good example of the types of people you will encounter in your life; they pose as your friends and manipulate you.
You've stated your point, now it's up to them to accept it. If I was you, I'd just move on.

I agree with Sauceman. Sounds like they have been taking advantage of you. I dont think it will hurt to be out of their group to be quite honest. You are not in the wrong at all. Trust me, Ive been in the same situation and it sucks. However, if they are too petty and stubborn to pitch in for gas, then they probably arent the people you want to hang around anyway. Im sorry you have to deal with this but some people are just crappy.

honestly you should be getting more than that if you have to go out of your way for them to have a fun day, those arent your friends if they dont understand that you are having to do all of that for them to enjoy their day

If theyre edgy enough to kick you from a "group chat" you're hanging with the wrong people. Simple as that.

You cant let people taking advantage of you like that, I know its hard when you're generally a nice person. But when you're too nice, thats when ppl take advantage of you.

Sometimes it's better to be alone than with fake people bro.
Those are not friends, like everyone else said, they were using you.
