From what I've researched, if you change to the AUS or NZ store and buy it there, which is a little more expensive because of conversion, then you play it in that timezone at launch. NZ time would be 7am EST. I haven't seen any confirmation that this still works though, but I haven't found anything that says it doesn't either.

I Always get the big games from Australia, with AUD Xbox gift cards, You can play the game around 1-2PM on Tuesday
