Over priced AIO with a locked CPU? Makes absolutely no sense. PSU is absolute shit. GTX 1050Ti does not belong in a system of this budget. No idea why you added another HDD for OP, but never included an SSD?

OP - You don't just post the URL, that just takes everyone to their own parts list.

Whoa there buddy, I made changes for a reason. He has room to work with if he wanted to keep some of the stuff he has

I use it for mainly gaming, i currently stick to more low-end games but want to play triple A titles and games like PUBG with much higher FPS than currently. Im not too sure on the case however as it is old however i can get a new one if need be

Upgrade the i5, stay in the i5 series but maybe get a better one, the motherboard is fine, 1050 is, although not bad, not the best for a new build as you'll have to upgrade in the future relativly soon especially for high quality newer games. Id say go for a better graphics card like a 1070 or 1080. that should do for now. with the upgrades mentioned, you may need a new power supply, add up the consumption power and get something at least 50 W higher than that. more if you want to upgrade in the near future. Get an ssd. This last part is very important.

For one, what the hell is this thread?

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£173.99 @ BT Shop)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£95.59 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£124.72 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£48.99 @ Amazon UK)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£225.99 @ Ebuyer)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (£51.95 @ Aria PC)
Total: £721.23

I left the price a little flexible. Do as 13 said if you go with this. Re-use the PSU and HDD, add an aftermarket cooler or a better SSD. You won't notice significant performance different across SSD's for the most part, so usually the cheapest is fine.

The only real difference between our builds is motherboard/ram/case/SSD. I dropped the cooler due to I wasn't thinking about the total budget and kept it near 730.

Get yourself a cryorig H7 for aesthetics and cooling purposes if you are into that. Much better than the stock cooler at least. If you still have some left over, look into getting a nicer model of the 580, you could likely pick up an 8GB model for a little more, I didn't bother looking at the prices as this was already fair enough; or a better SSD.

It is a 1-3 FPS difference in most cases, there was a good benchmark of the cards together side by side. Don't remember the video title. The value and power of the 580 can pay off in multitasking GPU intensive loads, then again Nvidia is just as good. If you have the left over money 8gb 580 > 6/3gb 1060.

No. Absolutely not. The 3GB GTX 1060 is terrible. The RX 470 out-performs the 3GB 1060.
