Authorise wrote I've got a bitcoin account that I loaded up with $500 worth back in 2010 but can not access the account and the email associated with it has subsequently been closed. Been trying for so long to gain access back to it. Would love to know how much it is worth

i call bullshit because $500 worth of Bitcoin in 2010 is literally worth 50 million USD today

Why call bs?

You can't assume that someone wouldn't have that kind of money. He just can't access it. It's bad luck m8.

Why would he invest $500 into something and then just completely forget about it? If he has his private keys he can access the money.

The only way you would profit a considerable amount is if you invest a lot (atleast $5k) and hold for atleast 6 months. Investing small like $25 wont bring you shit.

In response to people calling ya claim fake, I originally intended to purchase electronics and the seller mentioned bitcoin as an alternative to PayPal. After the sale fell through (no response from them) I started looking for other electronics vendors that would accept bitcoin but there weren't many unless you were on the dark web. And yes, you get specific key codes when you open your account which you are told to keep in a safe place. Obviously the place I kept them was so safe I forgot...

Well I hope you understand that if you get your hands on those private keys, well, you're a millionaire.
