The rules are simple to this game, there are many ways to enter this contest. You can either recommend a user and explain why they deserve gold and what they do to contribute to the community. The other way is to write me a short story, and I'll be choosing a couple to gift at the end of this contest. Now I would love to see what you guys have in mind!
Rep and thanks are appreciated, now good luck to everyone!

SHORT STORY TIME BOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
This story is called a misfit yungvlood
October 29th, 1919 a yung boy aged 17 named Eli Bjrklund started his journey to immigrate to the United States. His mother and father were from Sweden. A banker and his mother cleaned houses on the weekends as a house maid. Eli had dreamed of coming to the United States in 1914 when the first World War started, and when it ended the year previous, he was determined to come. His parents bashed the United States and continued to tell him it had no future and called him sensless plan.
It would cost far too much money and his future lied there in Sweden with them.
Eli didn't really care what his parents had to say though. He thought it was a place of magic, a place for those with ambition. He wanted nothing more than to make his journey and become rich and start a family. He was working at the bank with his father and saw the shape of the United States economy and knew he could make it rich in a short few years. His challenge would be getting there.
Eli had a plan that he wasn't sure was worth it. He knew his parents had a good amount of money due to his fathers success at banking. They were well off and his father had a dream to own an automobile by 1925 and had been saving, but the price was outrageous. Eli knew if he asked for the money his parents would surely not give it. He had to find a way to steal it. He knew they kept all their money in a small shoebox underneath their bed. Actually, he knew that's where they wanted him to think it was, but in actuality he knew inside their bathroom a removable mirror had a small panel and that's where his dad kept the money. He'd seen him put it in there several times, hiding in the tub behind the curtains.
On October 29th at 14:00, Eli got his fathers shotgun and walked into his parents room where they lay asleep. He knew this was the only way possible for him to get the money and finally make his escape to the United States. He drunkenly loaded the two shells it would hold and stored another in his pocket. He was almost sure that the two would do it, but incase he carried the extra.
Eli had only ever shot a few times, but despite this he wasn't very nervous. He had told himself at 15 that he would do anything it would take to reach the United States, he didn't care the cost. Of course he took a few shots of vodka to ease his mind and he hadn't actually planned on doing it that night, but he turned 18 in a month and the next train he could get across Europe wouldn't be for a few weeks. He knew if he turned 18 his dreams would begin to fade.
It was almost as easy as writing his name. He did it without thought and didn't check to ensure what he had done worked. A quick two shots and an explosion of sound and light filled the room. His ears rang for a second and he dropped the gun. He sat for a few seconds , ears ringing still he tried to listen to see if he could hear any movement or whimper but nothing.
Eli had killed both of his parents and was set forth to the United States. He didn't think much about his parents, he and his mother had never been close and his father was so stubborn and controlled everything he did. Eli had barely had friends as he was homeschooled due to his mother being bored and his parents wanted to ensure he learned only the things they thought were important.
Eli got the money from the bathroom and underneath the bed, a small pool of blood began to drip below the bed and had actually soaked a small amount of the shoebox and the money. Eli wasted no time, he had already packed a bag of clothes and items he would taking to the United States several months prior.
With all in hand, he ran out the door and he knew the nearest train station wasn't far from his house and he could probably catch a train to denmark and have no problems. His parents wouldn't be found for a few days, probably by a paperboy or maybe the milkman but he tried to not think of that.
As he assumed, a train to denmark was no problem and he'd be taking an express train from Denmark to France. From France to Spain, then from there a boat to the United States. He had an extra $40 for the United States which was plenty for him. He knew he wouldn't even need $15 and he would be able to start making enough money.
November 1st, 1919 Eli got aboard the Vigerslev express train. It was on route to France and he had never been so excited. As the train departed the station he had felt a sense of accomplishment. Excitement filled his body and the blood in his veins felt like they were flowing with ease.
Unfortuantely for Eli his adventure would end almost as soon as it started. The train rammed full speed into another train that had an emergency stop as a small boy opened the side door and fell out. Communications weren't going through and the conductor had no knowledge of the stopped train. Along with 40 other people, Eli had been killed by the wreck. They identified Eli a few hours after his aunt had discovered his parents. She was visiting to bring his mother a new dress.
Eli had written a letter to his parents apologizing for what he did but he felt no remorse. He said he did what had to be done and thats all there was to it.
thx this is totally worth $5.97 it took me 15 minutes to write and I had to look up 1919 train wrecks.

Not a long story and one on top of my head.
November 7,2017
I was setting in my room (time 12:00 am est) thinking of a short story to tell so I could be entered into a contest. As I was think about the many different story's I could right I decided to wright one about a cat named Sean, now this cat is not the typical cat you see roaming the world this cat was a special kind of cat, this cat had the knowledge to run a successful website called teeteegee.
That's all I could come up with sort if it's stuped.

High School Phase
It was the first day of High School when Logan first entered the doors. He noticed that over the summer, his friends dressed differently and changed. During lunch, he sat by his friends, but when he sat down they all got up. He wondered what happened? As the high school year went on, we went to make more friends, ones he didn't see himself ever being friends with growing up. They treated him nice and he liked them very well. School was very easy for him, but when the summer came, he was sitting in his room. Pondering what happened to his old friends. He then realized that they changed because they wanted to fit in with the high school kids, changing their behavior and attitudes, spending more of their parents' money. But Logan didn't. He stayed the same, while every one changed to become they weren't.
He's now in college and still looks at how everyone changed. How he lost his kindergarten best friends, just so they could be someone new. After college, they called him and requested to be his friend again, because there lifestyle they changed into, didn't work out for them. Logan accepted knowing, that High School can change anyone, but only if you let it.
This is my short story called the High School Phase.
