Hey everyone, so basically in a month or two when the Xbox One X has had it's time in term of price I am looking to pick one up. Serious question and PLEASE no console hate I just need a solid answer.

I already have the Xbox One 500GB Version (The very first Xbox One) and I was looking to upgrade. Now I can get hold of a 4k Monitor that isn't an issue however, is the gameplay much better? anything that you can really notice even 1080p comparisons.

Overall is it worth the upgrade?

Let me tell you man... its a big difference, games boot up damn near instantly it feels. I also had the first xbox one, and the upgrade was much worth it. Games look outstanding on the xbox one x. Games run so much better, things like madden which often times had a lot of lag and felt slow now feel extremely smooth, rocket league runs unbelievably smooth and so does call of duty. Personally I feel i got my moneys worth already and its been out for like 3 days. Thats just me though.

Thanks for that answer man, are you using the full 4k potential or are you just running in 1080p?

It's definitely worth it.
I had an XB1 S & my account that I bought all my games on got banned and was sadly gamesharing my brother who had the first XB1, so I was forced to sell it and have been using his since. Noticed just between them 2 that the 1S didnt freeze as much with games like ark, where as when on my brothers I couldnt play without it freezing every 10/15 mimutes.

Having played on my friends 1X I can say it is a brilliant console! I tried Forza 7, FIFA 18 & WW2 in 4k HDR and they all looked amazing. The 60fps is a big difference when gaming too.
