So I've been thinking about electricity lately and I don't know why but I'm very curious about this idea i have and maybe it would work. So by my understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) electricity can move through water and im curious if people could change out power lines with underground piping that has water in them that is electrified. It may sound stupid but maybe it's a possibility, who knows. Anyway let me know what you think about this

From my understanding water by its self is not a conductor of electricity, but rather what is in the water. Since the electricity would have to charge and discharge the water therefore losing energy.
I would also imagine that water is too unstable and the electricity would react much like lightning does in that it won't have a direct path and would be bouncing off the walls of said pipe losing energy over distance. Not sure on that though.
Shout out to my 9th grade science teacher for telling me I would refer back to his teachings later on in life!
