I asked this back when ios11 was 1st released. Wondering if its alright to uodate and are there any major issues with the current version?

yes, the reason i updated is because of the lane assist in the new maps, it pretty much tells you which lane to get into when you need to take an exit or whatever, which i really like becuase before it would tell you to take an exit and i would be on the oppostie side of the highway and would have to work my over in a matter of a minute or less

Yes. There is no reason to stay on a lower version as almost all the bugs got ironed out in the latest update.

Once they release the first update to a new iOS, they've usually managed to get all of the big, annoying bugs out of the way.

Its pretty much worth it, nothing bad ever necessarily comes out updating your phone when the updates come out so I would

There's always a feature or two that persuades you to update but in reality if you don't have money to get a new phone every 2 years then I would consider your options. I honestly always see the updates but I postpone them every chance I get. It's planned marketing that Apple uses, so there's pros and cons.
