Did you ever quit your first job? I've been at mine for a while now and I'm starting to hate it day by day. I work nights and because of that I never go out and my friends are never around. I think I'm just stuck where I am. Anybody else in the same situation or similar?

I haven't quit my first job but I have quit other jobs. Just be honest with you're boss and tell them the situation. I tend to stress out about situations like this more then I need too. But if you quit make sure you have a job lined up already. A lot of my friends get stuck on this situation where they can't find a job in a few months. If you need anymore help private message me I've worked in small places and big place like Disney.

I've quit plenty of jobs, and I'm only 20. That's bad to say because I'm so young, but I bounced job to job until I found one I can either make a career out of or enjoy. I'd rather bounce around now when I'm young, then when I'm 30-40 and fully depend on work.

I also live in my own apartment, have two kids and pay my own bills. Find a job you like while you're young. If you don't enjoy it, find another job and put in your two weeks and quit.

I now work at a dodge dealership making good money and have a full career now. In about a year or so I'll be able to be Chrysler certified as a technician.

I'm in that exact same spot. Just look for other jobs. On your days off go out and send in your resume. No point in being in a job you hate..

I left my first job so yes I know how you feel but right now I am working with some friends and it's pretty layed back no bosses down your neck and just a chill environment. Lately it's been getting worse and worse it seems like but hopefully they can get shit together.

I recently quit my serving job because it was taking too much of my time as I am in college I want more of my focus to be put on that. It's okay to quit your job if there is something more important you want to pursue if you're in a situation where that is your only source of income, and you pay bills I would advise to keep that job as you find a new one.

I quit my first legal job due to lack of work hours. Being in the construction industry (especially in the Seattle area) there was no excuse other than lazy PM's so I just quit. I wasn't with that company for too long, I think just 6 or 7 months so I didn't really bond with anyone there so there wasn't too much for me to leave behind. I've bonded with a lot of the people at my current job so it'd be harder to quit this one.

I've always wanted to quit like this guy though.
