I am looking to upgrade some parts on my PC. I currently use it mainly for gaming. It is a decent rig as of now but I have had it for quite some time and I feel as if its time to make some changes. It was custom built for me by a friend, so I am not very inclined on to what specific parts will work with my motherboard, etc.

My current parts list:

Case: DIYPC MA01-R Black SPCC MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell Quad-Core 3.2 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54460 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600

HDD: Seagate Desktop HDD ST1000DM003 1TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

SSD: SanDisk - SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

RAM: PNY - Anarchy 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 4GB WINDFORCE 2X OC EDITIONl]

PSU: EVGA 600 B1 100-B1-0600-KR 80+ BRONZE 600W

The MAIN things I am focused on getting/upgrading are: Graphics Card & MAYBE a new CPU if price is right

Preferred budget: $500 USD max.

I'm not 100% sure on what kind of graphics card I should get and I'm not sure how I would be able to tell if it would be compatible with my mother board or not. Same with the CPU.

It would much appreciated if someone could find or recommend these parts that I am looking for based on my current parts list.
In the future I plan to maybe get a new computer case! But we'll see.

Thank you in advance!

CPU is fine, but if you want an upgrade, grab an i7-4770/4790, or Xeon E3-1230/1231 V3. You should be able to find one for under $180. PSU upgrade isn't necessary right now. You can get GPU, case, and CPU for about $500 now, but Id recommend upgrading the PSU next, asap.
