Yeah, but as i said there wouldn't have been any records of him as he got on the ship so quickly only those aboard that he interacted with would have known but obviously his character isn't a real person but still the majority of the people that he got involved with on the ship would have most likely have went down with the ship apart from the few like Cal, Molly Brown, Rose's Mother & Ismay ect.. but they obviously wouldn't have helped with tracking him as he was just another random person to them.. and judging what happens by the end of the movie it doesn't look like rose even speaks to any of them again so she is the only 1 left with the memory of him. It is impossible to solve it unless Cameron himself says so.

Interesting theory That really makes someone rethink the whole thing. It really puts a twist on what might've happened.

What about the scene where she is at the dinner table and jack is there being asked qeustions by her husband? Who where they speaking to then?
