hey guys i just sold my i7 4790k for 170$ bc it will not go with my new motherbored witch is the z170A gaming m3 msi, will the i7 7700k work with that bord? and would the i5 7600k work with that bored? and what one should i get?

No, not out of the box. Not compatible. The i7 6700k would be compatible.

You should have returned the mobo instead.

its a longggggg story for this whole pc stuff but theres a reason i did not send back the motherboard, but should i get the i7 6700k??

If you can find a reasonably priced 6700k personally wouldn't spend over $300 280-90 would be the sweetspot.

i got one for 280$ and i bought 8gbs of ddr4 ram for now until i get paied next week then im going to pick up another set of 8gb ddr4 ram, i have the msi radeon 390x video card and 750 watt power supply. my i7 and ram will be here monday.

Get the ''Z270'' motherboard... or ''MSI Z270-A Pro'' if you gonna use it for i7 7700k

It works well for the 7th generation of intel.
