What kind of games will you be playing?
What monitor(s) do you already have that you will be using with this system?
Any kind of aesthetic preferences?
Will you overclock?

I meant more in terms of colour scheme for the components but it's cool, I just went as colour neutral as I could.

1080p 144Hz, i7 is pretty much necessary. It would definitely be worth waiting a couple of weeks for Coffee Lake's 6 core i5 or i7 line up with a Z370 board, but if you have to buy now, 7700k is your only option really. SLI support so you can easily add a 2nd GTX 1080 at any point if you want. You can sacrifice SLI support to get this system below $1500 if you want, but personally, I'd rather spend a little extra and have SLI support. You could also drop the GTX 1080 to a GTX 1070 and save a bit of money if you wanted, GTX 1070 would still be great for 1080p 144Hz. You'd also still have SLI support if you kept the system the same but swapped the GTX 1080 for a 1070.
