So, I built my computer about 3 years ago, and think its about time I upgrade some components,
I have the gtx 780ti and want to upgrade to a 1080 or 1080ti when the new cards come out, I was wondering if the compatibility of this card with my motherboard (MSI z87-g45 Gaming) would have any issues.
other components are:
Processor: Intel Core i7-4770k
Memory: 32GB 1600MHz
Also I was considering replacing my noctua nhd-14 with a Corsair Hydro Series H110i.
Power usage should not be an issue, have a Corsair HX1050

you'd be fine, just grab the cheaper end model cards. The card you choose should be derived from your res you play at.

Why are you waiting for new GPUs to launch? If new GPUs launch, buy whatever new GPU you can afford. We can't recommend a GPU until we know what monitor(s) you use with your system, and what exactly the system is used for.
I wouldn't swap a high end air cooler for an AIO.

The newer cards should be reasonably priced. Buy into the new series when it comes out. Also don't bother replacing your cooler. Noctua air coolers are good if not better than AIO's.
