Hello all recently I received a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop. The first night I used it I had wi-fi issues after connecting to an ethernet cord I ran all the updates and installed all drivers and everything seemed perfect I played The Sims 4 that night all set to ultra and it ran easily at 60fps. However the next day it began running like garbage I hadn't downloaded anything else since the night before.
So far I have tried: Factory Reset with driver install, Checking the disk for errors and then repairing said errors, and installing all windows updates and BIOS updates.
I'm pretty much at my wit's end I have tried everything I can think of and I desperately need help.
I have also noticed that the disc usage is usually around 90% percent however with checking the disk and defragging it it seemed to solve this problem.
Computer Specs are
i5-5500HQ
GTX 1050 4GB
8GB of DDR4 2133 RAM

Possibly a faulty HDD. Contact dell to see if they will give you a new one under warranty.
Else, if you want to spend some money and don't mind upgrading your laptop yourself, you could always pick up an SSD for it.
