So I need help with my car speakers, I've tried looking on google multiple times for help, but found nothing.
The issue is that every time I play music with bass, my speakers rattle and sounds horrible, I bought the car used and I know nothing about speakers. I've even turned the bass to -6 but they still rattle, any have any ideas on what to do?

The rattling like that usually means there blown or very close to blown but also check and make sure the are screwed in there tight

Definitely sounds like they got some issues. Take them in and see if they blew or something else. If you can buy new one's if needed and watch your car be amazing

Take off the door panel and check the speakers.

They are most likely blown. If your bass level on the headunit is -6 and its making rattles then they will need to be replaced.
The rattling you hear could be a loose cone, unwound coil, or a ripped lead.

If you want recommendations on what speakers will work best as direct-fit replacements, just list your make, model, and year of your vehicle and I'll list some suggestions.

it sucks that this happens but if its blown then you get to replace it with something that's better.

If you do decide to get new car speakers, go with Alpine SPR-60C's they are pricey but well worth your money. $200 per pair.

Those speakers aren't worth half that price.

In my old F-150 my speakers would rattle quite a bit but they were just loose. Tighten them back onto the door and everything was good. I'd check to make sure they are tight then if they are try taking one out and shaking it to see if you can re-create the rattle.
